About the Author: God

I found the best Bible ever. And by that I mean I found a pretty ridiculous Bible.

While hanging out at a beach house this summer during a week-long "college Christians go to the beach together" trip, I came across a book- The Bible. It seemed like your typical paper-back Bible, expect this one somehow conveyed that the author's name was God. Maybe it was weird because I've never seen a Bible actually attribute an author on the front like "Dan Brown" written on the front of "The DaVinci Code." Instead, I'm used to seeing the version of the Bible written on the front, such as "NRSV" or "King James Version" (I don't read the latter).

Or, maybe it was weird because it had the following written on the back:

About the Author:

He works as a teacher, theologian, physician, father, son, counselor and many other things- all simultaneously without taking a break. The following conversation took place after the initial finding of this unique version of The Bible:

Me: (reads the back of the book)
BigMo: God is a theologian? Doesn't that seem kind of vain?

Converstaion progressed, and we were all happy to know that God works simultaneously on many different projects, all out of God's office in Heaven. (excuse me... his office in Heaven.) I wonder if he has a big desk?

The first post- they'll get better

I wanted to comment on my sister's blog, so I had to create of my own. I'm not gonna lie, I'm pretty excited about it. I doubt anyone will ever really read my blog, but at least i'll have some fun.

I think I'll change the name of my blog once I go to Paris. I'll name it something appropriate so that I can post all about my trip...

I'm going to study in Paris in the spring. I am very excited, and also very nervous. I will be living with a French family. I don't know who yet, nor do I know whether or not they'll speak any english... That might be a problem seeing as how I don't speak French... I bet you can't wait to hear stories about my trip now, huh?

Okay- so maybe the name of my blog doesn't hold up today. I mean, I am pretty much an expert on writing about myself, and I failed to be very fun. But get ready- it's coming... Deep Thought by ME are on the rise!
